As All clubs are hopefully now aware we can access the services of Chris Walsh who is the Football Development Officer for the West. He has been put in post by Suffolk FA in line with their 4 Year Football Strategy. One of his roles is to support the development of Clubs in our league. Chris can be contacted at Chris.Walsh@suffolkfa.com or (01449) 776381 Clubs should use him in implementing the now mandatory (following the vote at the recent club meeting) for season 2009/2010 RESPECT initiative and the Charter Standard which all clubs at this point in time should be working towards as per league rules. Chris is also the person to talk to for general advice and information on developing your clubs facilities on and off the pitch, including coaching and first aid opportunities. I ask that clubs make full use of Chris' role and not be afraid to approach him as he is ultimately employed to support Football Stakeholders – which is you!! I have met Chris on a one to one basis and can assure you that Chris is most approachable and down to earth- himself playing grassroots football in Suffolk.
Thinking about refereeing? The League and the FA are always looking for referees. The game is useless without them so why not get involved. Click here for more information
